Jewel and Hammer is a husband and wife team.

Shannon began making jewelry seriously at age fourteen, and a few years later she got to spend an idyllic summer working in a bead and jewelry store near Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. There she learned many useful new skills, including jewelry repair, pearl knotting, and wire wrapping. She has taught jewelry classes off and on over the years since.

One day Ryan picked up some of Shannon’s tools and began fiddling with wire. From there things just kept rolling. Turned out he was incredibly talented both in designing and executing feats of wire-wrapping, and his pendants were turning heads everywhere Shannon wore them.

Ryan and Shannon work together to run all sides of the business, from creation to photography to sales and shipping. Their work reflects their own interests–ranging from elegant to eclectic, from vintage to geek.

We love every piece we sell. We hope you find something to fall in love with too!
